7, 2019 – In true Hard Rock style, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa officially unveiled its highly-anticipated $700 million expansion today following the brand's signature Guitar Smash and a high wire walk by the 'King of the High Wire,' Nik Wallenda. Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is leading up to an Oct. 3 grand opening of its expanded and renovated spaces.
The $700 million expansion includes a 14-story hotel tower with 562 rooms and suites, three pools and gaming space. The casino complexalready has completed expansions to its poker room, mezzanine-level casino/'Rock Walk' and Orient Road garage.
It will also unveil a Rock Spa & Salon, food and beverage options, retail stores, event center and entrance. Three new outdoor swimming pools are located on the second level of the expanded hotel and casino complex.
The 60,000-square-foot expanded pool and deck area will feature 20 cabanas, 700 lounges and daybeds, two DJ booths and more. The 245,000-square-foot casino includes an additional 1,000 slot machines and 41 table games, bringing the gaming options to nearly 5,000 slot machines, 179 tables and a poker room with 46 poker tables.
The new hotel tower will feature a private gaming parlor for VIP guests with an check-in and private elevators to 'rock star' suites.
The architect of record is Klai Juba Wald of Las Vegas. Interior design is led by WimberlyInteriors of New York. Landscape designers are EDSA of Fort Lauderdale.
